Willy Adames Busts Slump, Explodes For Five RBI
11 months agoMilwaukee Brewers shortstop Willy Adames finished 4-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI in Friday's 7-1 win over the Cleveland Guardians. The 27-year-old smacked the ball all over the yard in this one, also contributing a double off the centerfield wall which almost left the park. Since Adames last went deep on June 7, he was mired in a rough 8-for-46 skid with just two RBI over his previous 12 games this month. The slugging infielder halted that slump with a massive showing in this one and fantasy managers hope it gets him cooking. With room for improvement, Adames is slashing .216/.294/.398 with 12 big flies, 34 RBI, and four stolen bases over 241 at-bats.
