Will Warren 2024 Fantasy Baseball Outlook: Nearing Major League Debut
11 months agoNew York Yankees pitching prospect Will Warren became a familiar name in the baseball world after his near-perfect final month of the 2023 season. In September, Warren shoved in Triple-A with a 0.63 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, and 36 strikeouts across 28 2/3 innings. Over the entire season, Warren performed well, posting a 3.61 ERA and 1.30 WHIP in Double-A and Triple-A, which is very similar to his 2022 numbers, where he posted a 3.91 ERA and 1.25 WHIP in High-A and Double-A. The Southern-Louisiana University product showed that he can produce similar numbers in Triple-A, and his dominant finish puts him in a solid position to reach the major leagues this season. Warren should be one of the first options to fill a rotation spot in the Bronx in 2024, making him an intriguing asset in re-draft and keeper formats.
