Wendell Carter Jr. Remains Out Against Celtics
5 months agoOrlando Magic center Wendell Carter Jr. (finger) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Boston Celtics. Carter hasn't been involved in game action since Nov. 2 due to a fractured third metacarpal in his left hand, but he's been practicing for the past two weeks. Inching toward a return, Carter will try to suit up for Sunday's rematch with Boston. The former top-10 pick should not be sitting on very many fantasy waiver wires at this point. Goga Bitadze and Moritz Wagner have mostly canceled each other out from a fantasy perspective over the course of Carter's absence, but Bitadze is the big man to ride right now after blocking four shots with at least 13 points and seven rebounds in each of his last two contests.
