Victor Wembanyama Out With Ankle Sprain
1 month agoSan Antonio Spurs center Victor Wembanyama (ankle) will not play in Monday's game versus the Phoenix Suns. Downgraded from questionable to out with a left ankle sprain, Wembanyama reportedly worked with the team during Monday's practice and should be considered day-to-day ahead of his next chance to take the floor on Wednesday against the Utah Jazz. The 15-56 Spurs are not in any rush to push their prized rookie big man back into action, though. With Wemby sidelined, Zach Collins deserves plenty of attention for the first day of the fantasy semifinals despite a tough matchup against a Suns team allowing the fourth-fewest DraftKings points to opposing centers. Over seven games without Wembanyama this season, Collins is putting up 16.0 points, 4.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.8 three-pointers, and 2.0 combined steals plus blocks per contest.
