Tim Hardaway Jr. 2018-19 Player Outlook
6 years agoNew York Knicks guard/forward Tim Hardaway Jr. will start 2018-19 off the back of a career-year after averaging 17.5 points per game last season in 33.1 minutes. He added 2.8 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and 1.1 steals -- all of which are his career highs as well. His shooting was a headache for a lot of fantasy owners, as Hardaway Jr. managed to nail only 31.7 percent of his treys, but he also missed a lot of time, which clearly didn't help. His career average is at a decent 35.2 percent, shooting 42.7 percent overall from the field. The Knicks are in rebuild mode and with Kristaps Porzingis (knee) possibly out until 2019, they'll need somebody who can score the basketball and Hardaway Jr. certainly fits the bill. We could be looking at a very good fantasy contributor If he can boost his peripherals a bit more.
