Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Won’t Play Tuesday
4 weeks agoOklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (quadriceps) has been downgraded from questionable to out for Tuesday's meeting with the Philadelphia 76ers. Gilgeous-Alexander didn't participate in the morning shootaround with his right quadriceps contusion, and he'll try to return during the third outing of a five-game East Coast swing and second leg of OKC's back-to-back on Wednesday against the first-place Boston Celtics. With Jalen Williams (ankle) also sidelined, Josh Giddey will serve as the Thunder's primary playmaker and ball handler and experience a big boost in fantasy appeal. Averaging 22.8 points on 63.9% shooting from the floor, 9.0 boards, 7.4 dimes, and 2.4 threes over his past last games, Giddey will also have a great chance to build on his late-season surge as an exciting DFS play against an unimposing Sixers defense.
