Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luguentz Dort Available Wednesday
3 months agoOklahoma City Thunder guards Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (illness) and Luguentz Dort (ankle) are available to play in Wednesday's tilt versus the Denver Nuggets. The two starters were getting up some shots at the end of the team's shootaround on Wednesday morning, indicating that they were on the right track to suit up. Gilgeous-Alexander is dealing with a non-COVID illness, but it shouldn't affect his workload against the defending champions. The 25-year-old MVP candidate ranks as fantasy's No. 1 overall player in nine-category leagues, racking up 31.3 points on 54.7% field-goal shooting, 6.4 assists, 5.6 rebounds, 2.2 steals, and 1.2 triples per game for the Thunder in 2023-24. Dort is nursing soreness in his left ankle but should handle his usual allotment of minutes on the wing as a three-and-D presence in OKC's starting five.
