Seth Brown Not Seen In Saturday's Lineup
7 months agoOakland Athletics first baseman/outfielder Seth Brown (oblique) is out of Saturday's lineup against the Los Angeles Angels. Brown left Thursday's series finale with the Minnesota Twins due to left oblique soreness and has missed the prior two outings as a result. The 31-year-old will have one more chance to return to play before the campaign concludes after Sunday's series finale in Anaheim. The lefty-hitting Brown is slashing a pedestrian .222/.286/.405 with 14 home runs, 52 RBI, and three stolen bases in 343 at-bats this season. Brent Rooker is in right field and batting third while Carlos Perez is at designated hitter and hitting seventh against right-hander Andrew Wantz on Saturday.
