2 weeks agoAtlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson (ankle) was injured in Tuesday's game against the Miami Heat. He will not return. The 22-year-old was having a fantastic game before suffering a sprained right ankle, amassing 13 points, eight boards, three assists, and two steals. However, considering Johnson just returned from a six-game layoff caused by the same issue, he could miss time moving ahead. With Onyeka Okongwu (toe) also sidelined, De'Andre Hunter, Bruno Fernando, and Garrison Mathews may get more action if Johnson goes on the shelf.Source: Hawks PR
2 weeks agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Giannis Antetokounmpo (undisclosed) exited Tuesday's matchup with the Boston Celtics. The multi-time MVP has been battling a hamstring injury and wasn't a lock to suit up for this one. However, he was cleared to play. Unfortunately, Antetokounmpo went down with a non-contact injury in the third quarter and limped to the locker room. It's possible he aggravated the hamstring issue. With that in mind, his night could be over, with a more extensive exam likely on the horizon.Source: Eric Nehm
2 weeks agoLos Angeles Lakers center Anthony Davis (eye, illness) won't play in Tuesday's game against Golden State. AD logged only 12 minutes in Sunday's meeting with the Minnesota Timberwolves before suffering an eye injury. He was listed as questionable heading into this one, so it appeared he at least had a shot to get on the floor. However, that won't happen, as Davis is now battling nausea and headaches. With LeBron James (illness) also not a lock to suit up, D'Angelo Russell, Austin Reaves, Spencer Dinwiddie, and Rui Hachimura could all benefit on the scoring end. Jaxson Hayes, averaging 11.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 2.3 steals in four starts this season, should also see more interest from DFS participants.Source: Chris Hayes
2 weeks agoChicago Bulls center Andre Drummond (ankle) exited Tuesday's meeting with the New York Knicks. Drummond tried to throw down an alley-oop from Torrey Craig. However, he missed it and eventually rolled his ankle. The team hasn't released an official injury update. But Drummond needed a wheelchair to get to the locker room, so his evening is likely over. The Bulls are guaranteed a Play-In spot. Yet, it's possible the team could be without Drummond for at least a few games. With that in mind, as long as Drummond remains off the floor, Craig and Adama Sanogo might see more action moving ahead.Source: Darnell Mayberry
2 weeks agoNew York Knicks forward Bojan Bogdanovic (wrist) will suit up Tuesday against the Chicago Bulls. He's been dealing with a right wrist sprain. When healthy this season, the sharpshooting 34-year-old averages 15.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.8 assists in 26.6 minutes across 53 games. Bogdanovic is definitely a player who could be a solid option for hoops DFS this evening in the Windy City.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 weeks agoUtah Jazz guard Collin Sexton (illness) has been downgraded to questionable before Tuesday's game against the Denver Nuggets due to an illness. It won't be a surprise if Sexton doesn't suit up since the Jazz are out of playoff contention, but it will be a game-time call. The 25-year-old has had an impressive run, most recently averaging 20.4 points in his last eight outings.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 weeks agoChicago Bulls guard Coby White (ankle) is available for Tuesday's contest with the New York Knicks. He injured his left ankle in a meeting with New York last week but registered 38 minutes on Sunday versus Orlando. White will have a challenging task going up against the Knicks, as they allowed the fourth-fewest points in the league to point guards. The 24-year-old has also struggled lately, shooting-wise, registering 36.8 percent from the field in the last 10 outings.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 weeks agoDue to a right quad contusion, Chicago Bulls guard Ayo Dosunmu (quadriceps) is unavailable for Tuesday's matchup with the Knicks. Dosunmu will be out of the Bulls lineup for the first time since November 4th. He's improved so much over the season and would have been a great fantasy option for tonight's tilt. However, In his absence, Dalen Terry, Jevon Carter, and Onuralp Bitim could see more action during the contest.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 weeks agoMiami Heat point guard Terry Rozier (neck) won't be in the lineup on Tuesday against Atlanta. He was always going to be unlikely to play after Miami downgraded Rozier to doubtful ahead of the contest. The former Hornet comes out of the lineup for the first time since Feb. 27. Duncan Robinson (back) is also out on Tuesday, which could give Patty Mills a significant role again. Meanwhile, Tyler Herro should get extra usage offensively without Rozier and Robinson. He's in a potential crush spot on Tuesday against an awful defense.Source: Ira Winderman
3 weeks agoChicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso (ankle) is available for Tuesday's game against the Knicks after missing one game due to a left ankle bruise. Caruso last saw action against New York on April 5th and registered seven points, one rebound and four assists in 32 minutes. Point guard Ayo Dosunmu was ruled out for the contest (quadriceps), but guard Coby White (ankle) is suiting up. The Bull's backcourt was in a bit of disarray for a moment, but it should be stabilized with Caruso and White back.Source: NBA Injury Report
3 weeks agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard De'Anthony Melton (back) will return to action on Tuesday against Detroit. He's available again after missing 21 contests with a back problem. Melton makes his comeback at a good time, as the 76ers will be without Tyrese Maxey (hip) and Kyle Lowry (knee) on Tuesday. However, due to his long absence, it's unlikely Melton will get a large workload in his first game back in the lineup. Cameron Payne and Kelly Oubre Jr. make up Philadelphia's starting backcourt on Tuesday.Source: Keith Pompey
3 weeks agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) will play against Detroit on Tuesday. The team has upgraded him from questionable to available. This will be Embiid's fourth appearance since he returned from a left knee injury. The reigning MVP has filled it up with 27.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 1.3 steals since his comeback despite averaging only 28.3 minutes. He's averaged over 36 points and 13 rebounds against the Pistons in 2023-24 and should feast again against a weak frontcourt.Source: Keith Pompey
3 weeks agoMiami Heat center Bam Adebayo (hand) has been upgraded from probable to available for Tuesday's matchup against Atlanta. The Heat star is good to go despite landing on the injury report with a sprained hand. This is a wonderful matchup for Adebayo against a defensively fragile team that regularly has trouble against opposing big men. He has already feasted against the Hawks a few times this season, averaging 21.7 points, 12.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.7 steals across three games.Source: Ira Winderman
3 weeks agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guards Tyrese Maxey (hip) and Kyle Lowry (knee) won't play against the Pistons on Tuesday. The latter misses a second consecutive game, while Maxey will be sidelined after putting in a massive 54-minute shift in the last game against San Antonio. Cameron Payne looks set for his second consecutive start and will get a big boost from the backcourt absentees. The 29-year-old has averaged 12.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.8 assists as a member of the first unit in 2023-24.Source: Keith Pompey
3 weeks agoPhiladelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris (knee) will return to the lineup on Tuesday against Detroit. He's back after being unavailable for three games with a knee contusion. Harris has looked sharp lately with multiple 20-point efforts and will have extra fantasy appeal on Tuesday due to Tyrese Maxey's (hip) absence. It's a favorable matchup for Harris, who's had no trouble putting up points against his former team this season, averaging 19.3 points with 54.5 percent shooting from downtown.Source: Keith Pompey
