2 weeks agoChicago Bulls guard Alex Caruso (ankle) is available for Tuesday's game against the Knicks after missing one game due to a left ankle bruise. Caruso last saw action against New York on April 5th and registered seven points, one rebound and four assists in 32 minutes. Point guard Ayo Dosunmu was ruled out for the contest (quadriceps), but guard Coby White (ankle) is suiting up. The Bull's backcourt was in a bit of disarray for a moment, but it should be stabilized with Caruso and White back.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoPhiladelphia 76ers guard De'Anthony Melton (back) will return to action on Tuesday against Detroit. He's available again after missing 21 contests with a back problem. Melton makes his comeback at a good time, as the 76ers will be without Tyrese Maxey (hip) and Kyle Lowry (knee) on Tuesday. However, due to his long absence, it's unlikely Melton will get a large workload in his first game back in the lineup. Cameron Payne and Kelly Oubre Jr. make up Philadelphia's starting backcourt on Tuesday.Source: Keith Pompey
2 weeks agoPhiladelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (knee) will play against Detroit on Tuesday. The team has upgraded him from questionable to available. This will be Embiid's fourth appearance since he returned from a left knee injury. The reigning MVP has filled it up with 27.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 1.0 blocks, and 1.3 steals since his comeback despite averaging only 28.3 minutes. He's averaged over 36 points and 13 rebounds against the Pistons in 2023-24 and should feast again against a weak frontcourt.Source: Keith Pompey
2 weeks agoMiami Heat center Bam Adebayo (hand) has been upgraded from probable to available for Tuesday's matchup against Atlanta. The Heat star is good to go despite landing on the injury report with a sprained hand. This is a wonderful matchup for Adebayo against a defensively fragile team that regularly has trouble against opposing big men. He has already feasted against the Hawks a few times this season, averaging 21.7 points, 12.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.7 steals across three games.Source: Ira Winderman
2 weeks agoPhiladelphia 76ers point guards Tyrese Maxey (hip) and Kyle Lowry (knee) won't play against the Pistons on Tuesday. The latter misses a second consecutive game, while Maxey will be sidelined after putting in a massive 54-minute shift in the last game against San Antonio. Cameron Payne looks set for his second consecutive start and will get a big boost from the backcourt absentees. The 29-year-old has averaged 12.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.8 assists as a member of the first unit in 2023-24.Source: Keith Pompey
2 weeks agoPhiladelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris (knee) will return to the lineup on Tuesday against Detroit. He's back after being unavailable for three games with a knee contusion. Harris has looked sharp lately with multiple 20-point efforts and will have extra fantasy appeal on Tuesday due to Tyrese Maxey's (hip) absence. It's a favorable matchup for Harris, who's had no trouble putting up points against his former team this season, averaging 19.3 points with 54.5 percent shooting from downtown.Source: Keith Pompey
2 weeks agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton (quadriceps) will be available for Tuesday's marquee matchup against the Celtics. He has shaken off a quadriceps injury and also looks to have recovered from a mouth trauma, which limited Middleton to only 13 minutes on Sunday against the Knicks. The three-time All-Star has averaged 13.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 6.7 assists in three priors meetings with Boston this season.Source: Eric Nehm
2 weeks agoMilwaukee Bucks point guard Damian Lillard (hip) is good to go for Tuesday's big matchup against Boston. He was a late addition to the injury report on Tuesday with a probable tag, but Bucks head coach Doc Rivers has said Lillard will play. Patrick Beverley (ankle) is also back, which means a lot fewer minutes for Pat Connaughton. Lillard faces a backcourt full of defensive talent on Tuesday, but he has previously played well against the Celtics this season, averaging 26.7 points with 42.9 percent shooting from deep.Source: Eric Nehm
2 weeks agoMilwaukee Bucks forward/center Giannis Antetokounmpo (hamstring) will play against Boston on Tuesday. The former MVP will be tasked with helping the team end a four-game skid. Antetokounmpo hasn't had a great time against the Celtics this season, settling for only 22.5 points across two games. However, with Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring) and Al Horford (toe) absent for the C's, Boston will be weakened inside the paint, which is where Antetokounmpo does most of his damage.Source: Eric Nehm
2 weeks agoOrlando Magic guard/forward Franz Wagner (ankle) has been downgraded to out for Tuesday's matchup against Houston. After Wagner hurt his right ankle on Sunday versus Chicago, there was hope of him being available for the contest when he took part in the morning shootaround, but the team has now officially ruled him out. Joe Ingles will likely play a larger part in the rotation without Wagner, although he's been unproductive throughout the season, and fantasy managers should look elsewhere.Source: Orlando Magic
2 weeks agoBrooklyn Nets center Nicolas Claxton (ankle) is probable for Wednesday's game against the Toronto Raptors. Claxton missed Sunday's blowout loss to the visiting Sacramento Kings due to a sprained left ankle, but his absence with the injury is likely to be held to a one-game minimum. The 24-year-old shot-blocking extraordinaire is supplying 9.4 points, 10.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 2.0 blocks in 30.1 minutes per game while shooting a paltry 26.3% from the charity stripe over his past five outings for the Nets, and his return would dump cold water on 2023 first-rounder Noah Clowney's recent surge. Claxton should be able to pull down plenty of boards against Toronto, who are without interior presence Jakob Poeltl (hand) and are giving up the third-most rebounds per game (15.9) to enemy centers this season.Source: Brian Lewis - New York Post
2 weeks agoThe Minnesota Timberwolves announced on Tuesday that center Karl-Anthony Towns (knee) has been cleared for full-contact, 5-on-5 basketball activities and is progressing toward his return to play. Towns remains formally listed as out for Tuesday's matchup with the Washington Wizards, but it sounds like the 28-year-old All-Star big man is eyeing a return from March 12 left meniscus surgery as early as Wednesday's clash between two Western Conference heavyweights with the defending-champion Denver Nuggets. Naz Reid will have at least one more chance under the spotlight for the T-Wolves, averaging 18.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 3.2 three-pointers, and 2.5 combined steals plus blocks across his last 11 appearances (all starts) alongside Rudy Gobert in Minnesota's starting frontcourt. Washington is surrendering more DraftKings points to opposing power forwards than any other team in 2023-24.Source: Dane Moore - 'The Dane Moore NBA Podcast'
2 weeks agoDenver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon (foot) has been ruled out for Tuesday's matchup against the Utah Jazz. Gordon missed their last game on Saturday versus Atlanta due to a right-foot strain. When he has missed time, 21-year-old Peyton Watson has posted 11.0 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks in seven games. Christian Braun may also see more minutes on the court in Gordon's absence, as he started Saturday and logged 25 minutes.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoMilwaukee Bucks point guard Patrick Beverley (ankle) is listed as probable for Tuesday's contest with the Boston Celtics. The 35-year-old has missed the last three games due to a sprained right ankle, but he will likely make his return to the court on Tuesday. Over his last 14 outings, he's averaged 5.6 points and 3.3 rebounds in 21.7 minutes per game. Should the veteran point guard be unable to suit up, his next chance to return comes Wednesday versus the Orlando Magic.Source: NBA Injury Report
2 weeks agoMilwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard (hip) is now listed as probable for Tuesday's contest against the Celtics. He has been dealing with soreness in his left hip. Lillard is a late addition to the injury report, but the 33-year-old should be good to go for tipoff and he is always a must-start in all fantasy formats. If Lillard cannot suit up, Pat Connaughton and Bobby Portis could grab more minutes of playing time than usual.Source: NBA Injury Report
