Nolan Jones Goes Off For Full Line On Tuesday
10 months agoColorado Rockies outfielder/first baseman Nolan Jones had a monster night at the dish on Tuesday, going 4-for-4 with a home run, two doubles, two RBI, two runs scored, a stolen base, and a walk. It wasn't enough for a win, though, in an 8-6 loss to the Cincinnati Reds. The 25-year-old got the party started with a towering blast into deep right field. Jones proceeded to nab a single and a few doubles to complete an outstanding performance. The left-handed hitter is slashing a superb .354/.436/.634 with five taters, 14 RBI, and five pilfers over 82 at-bats since being recalled from Triple-A Albuquerque on May 26. The Rockies could get healthier soon, but Jones is flashing enough power and speed potential to be rostered across all fantasy formats if he was dropped during a recent quiet stretch.
