Nick Castellanos Smacks 10th Homer To Continue Rebound
10 months agoPhiladelphia Phillies right fielder Nick Castellanos went 2-for-5 with a home run, four RBI, and two runs scored in Wednesday's 8-5 win over the Chicago Cubs. The 31-year-old has been virtually allergic to slumps all season. Since April 7 (71 games), Castellanos hasn't gone longer than two games without logging a hit as a remarkable model of consistency. Better yet, the former Silver Slugger is hitting .371 with a 1.015 OPS, five homers, 21 RBI, and three stolen bases over 89 June at-bats. Castellanos has succeeded as a bet-on-talent fantasy pick thus far after an uncharacteristically weak Philly debut season. Overall, the slugger is batting .314 with an .857 OPS, 10 big flies, 49 RBI and five swipes across 303 ABs.
