Mitch Garver Singles On Friday After Exiting Thursday
8 months agoTexas Rangers catcher/designated hitter Mitch Garver (foot), who returned to Friday's lineup against the Cleveland Guardians, went 1-for-4 with a run scored in the 12-3 loss to the Cleveland Guardians. The 32-year-old had X-rays return negative on his left foot after fouling a ball off of it in Thursday's game against the Toronto Blue Jays. Garver continued his productive ways, as he's supplied a strong presence at DH for Texas while he's been healthy since early June. The former Silver Slugger is slashing a potent .280/.381/.528 with 17 home runs, 11 doubles, and 45 RBI in 292 trips to the plate this season. Garver has helped guide fantasy rosters needing a catcher to the playoffs, and he should carry on doing so while in the heart of the Rangers order.
