Miles Bridges Not Expected To Play Wednesday
4 weeks agoCharlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges (wrist) has been downgraded from questionable to doubtful for Wednesday's contest versus the Portland Trail Blazers. A right wrist contusion leaves Bridges unlikely to play against Portland, which would clear up a spot in Charlotte's starting lineup at power forward for the likes of Davis Bertans and Aleksej Pokusevski. Neither of the two are anything more than hit-or-miss fantasy streamers on Wednesday, but the Blazers do rank 23rd in the NBA in opponent rebounding percentage (48.9%). Managers hope to get Bridges back during the fantasy finals on Friday against the Orlando Magic, as the 26-year-old playmaking forward is averaging 22.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 2.1 threes in 39.6 minutes across his last 13 appearances.
