Max Muncy Suppresses Skid With Long Ball
11 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers third baseman Max Muncy went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored, and two RBI in a close 6-5 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Saturday. The 32-year-old was just 2-for-27 in his last seven games before silencing that slump with a tater in this one. Even though Muncy mainly hits for power, he's been quite a high-floor fantasy option considering his average. The two-time All-Star hasn't gone more than four games without logging an RBI and his longest homer-less drought sits at just eight games. The three-true-outcomes hitter is having a very nice rebound campaign. Muncy is batting .205/.338/.512 with 16 big flies and 37 RBI.
