Markelle Fultz, Wendell Carter Jr. Limited Wednesday
5 months agoOrlando Magic guard Markelle Fultz (knee) and center Wendell Carter Jr. (finger) were limited at practice on Wednesday. Lingering left knee tendinitis has kept Fultz in shutdown mode for 17 of a possible 18 games since Nov. 2, so this is a very encouraging update after there was no sign of activity for a month. The former No. 1 overall pick is likely to need some time recondition himself into game shape before any kind of return to action, so Friday against the Boston Celtics may not be realistic. Cole Anthony and Jalen Suggs should remained rostered in most fantasy leagues. Carter hasn't been seen on the floor since Nov. 2 due to a fractured third metacarpal in his left hand, but he's been practicing for two weeks as the 16-7 Magic take things slowly with the oft-injured former top-10 draft pick. Goga Bitadze and Moritz Wagner have canceled one another out for fantasy purposes in Carter's stead.
