2 months agoColorado Rockies designated hitter/first baseman Kris Bryant (illness) is still out of Thursday's lineup for the series finale versus the Los Angeles Dodgers due to an illness. Friday's series opener vs. the Minnesota Twins marks the 31-year-old's next chance to return to the fold from his sickness, which has cost him the previous three meetings. Year 2 of Bryant's lucrative seven-year deal has been underwhelming once again to say the least, slashing .239/.318/.375 with 10 home runs, 10 doubles, and 31 RBI in 327 plate appearances.
