Khris Middleton To Sit Out Against Pistons
6 months agoMilwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton (knee) is listed as out on Wednesday versus the Detroit Pistons. While frustrating, it's simply injury management for Middleton on the first part of a back-to-back for the Bucks. The 32-year-old three-time All-Star remains limited on the court following offseason right knee surgery, averaging just 9.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.0 trifectas in 18.6 minutes during 2023-24. Fantasy managers can treat Middleton as a buy-low candidate in this diminished role as his playing time figures to gradually ramp up, but maintenance days may not be going away anytime soon. Jae Crowder is a candidate to enter head coach Adrian Griffin's starting group and supply low-end streaming worth, while the struggling Bobby Portis could be a contrarian DFS bet to get more run against a big Pistons frontcourt.
