Kevin Love Out Monday, Not Traveling With Team
3 months agoMiami Heat forward/center Kevin Love (knee) is out on Monday against the Brooklyn Nets and did not travel with the team ahead of the matchup. After missing Sunday's game as well, it places Love on the wrong side of questionable for Wednesday's contest against the Toronto Raptors due to a left knee contusion. The 35-year-old former All-Star is actually putting together one of his best seasons in terms of efficiency, turning in 10.1 points on 45.2% field-goal shooting, 6.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.7 treys per game in 2023-24 during his first full year in South Beach, staying fantasy relevant due to Miami's perpetually banged-up rotation. If Jimmy Butler (toe) doesn't return for the Heat on Monday, more playing time would remain available for Nikola Jovic and Haywood Highsmith in the frontcourt.
