Kevin Huerter Rejoining Starting Lineup
4 months agoSacramento Kings head coach Mike Brown says guard/forward Kevin Huerter is back in the team's starting lineup in place of Chris Duarte for Tuesday's meeting with the Detroit Pistons. Huerter reportedly practiced with the starters on Monday, signaling his 17-point effort on Saturday earned him a spot back with the first unit. 2023-24 has been a real struggle for Huerter, who was a key cog in helping end a 16-year Kings playoff drought last season. The 25-year-old marksman is draining a career-low 34.1% of his three-point attempts this year, bottoming out with seven straight single-digit showings before Saturday's performance. Huerter's two-way skills and ability to contribute in multiple areas, however, means he should remain high on fantasy watchlists, and he'll try to establish a rhythm during Sacramento's current five-game road trip.
