Kawhi Leonard Out, Norman Powell Starting
4 weeks agoLos Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (knee) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Sacramento Kings. This comes out of nowhere, as Leonard was not spotted on the original injury report with his right knee soreness. The 32-year-old six-time All-Star will miss his first game since March 10, and he'll hope to return during the fantasy finals for Thursday's clash against the defending-champion Denver Nuggets after returning to LA for treatment on Tuesday. Sixth man Norman Powell will vault into the Clips' starting lineup in a favorable matchup against the Kings, who are giving up the fifth-most threes per game (2.9) to opposing small forwards. Powell has hit double scoring figures in 11 straight appearances, averaging 16.3 points on 50.8% shooting from the field, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.0 triples in 27.9 minutes covering this span.
