Julio Urias Having Next Start Moved To Thursday
9 months agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Julio Urias (finger) is seeing his next scheduled start pushed back to Thursday versus the Oakland Athletics. The 26-year-old was initially set to take the mound for Tuesday's series opener vs. Oakland, but is being provided some extra rest until Thursday while bothered by "a little nail thing," per Dodgers manager Dave Roberts. The newly-acquired Lance Lynn is slated for his LA debut on Tuesday instead of Urias, who's endured quite an unnerving stretch with a 7.45 ERA covering his last six starts (29 innings). Thursday's date with the hapless A's could act as the ultimate get-right spot for the 2022 NL ERA leader.
