Julian Champagnie Earns Multi-Year Deal With Spurs
10 months agoSan Antonio Spurs forward Julian Champagnie is sticking around with the team on a four-year, $12 million contract. It's a feel-good story for the 22-year-old, who played only 15 games for the Spurs last campaign. In his limited action, Champagnie showed out with 11.0 points, 4.0 boards, and 2.2 threes on 40.7% shooting from downtown across just 20.7 minutes per night. The undrafted St. John's product may have aided some fantasy rosters during "silly season" last year, but Champagnie could have a hard time cracking the San Antonio rotation while the squad is healthy in 2023-2024.
