Jorge Polanco Goes Deep For Second Time In Three Games
12 months agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Jorge Polanco went 3-for-5 with three runs scored, a home run, and a stolen base in an extra-inning loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers on Monday. He's now hitting .283 with four homers and 14 RBI across 92 at-bats this season. The 29-year-old cooled off following a fiery start off the injured list, but he has at least one hit in 18-of-22 games so far. Polanco's balky knee which cost him time to start the season may have attributed to a lack of action in the running game up until this point. The former all-star should be added in shallow leagues that he may have been dropped in amidst a recent quiet stretch.
