John Collins Uncertain For Monday With Illness
5 months agoUtah Jazz forward John Collins (illness) has been added to the team's injury report as questionable for Monday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Collins is a late addition to the report and suddenly in danger of missing his first game of the season due to an illness. The explosive 26-year-old is settling in nicely during his first year in Salt Lake City with averages of 14.5 points, 8.6 rebounds, 1.4 threes, and 1.0 blocks in 31.0 minutes over 22 games, hovering around the top 100 for fantasy means. The Jazz have already ruled out big men Lauri Markkanen (hamstring) and Walker Kessler (foot) for Monday, so Kelly Olynyk could be in line for his largest workload of the year if Collins takes a seat along with them. 2023 No. 9 overall pick Taylor Hendricks and Omer Yurtseven could occupy meaningful roles for head coach Will Hardy against the Thunder as well.
