Jock Landale Likely Good To Go For Training Camp
8 months agoHouston Rockets general manager Rafael Stone announced that center Jock Landale (ankle) should be fully healthy by training camp in late September. The 27-year-old suffered a "major" left ankle injury with Australia during the FIBA World Cup last month, but he seems to have recovered very well over the past several weeks. Landale reached a four-year, $32 million deal with the Rockets this offseason after averaging 6.6 points on 52.8% shooting, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.0 assists in 14.2 minutes over 69 games with the Phoenix Suns last year. The big man is set to come off Houston's bench to spell Alperen Sengun this season, so he's likely off the fantasy radar unless Sengun ever were to miss time.
