Jalen Williams Doubtful Against Pacers
4 weeks agoOklahoma City Thunder forward Jalen Williams (ankle) is doubtful for Friday's game against the Indiana Pacers. Williams is set to miss a third consecutive contest due to a sprained left ankle, with one more shot to return during fantasy's championship round arriving on Sunday against the Charlotte Hornets. There have been no clear-cut fantasy beneficiaries of the 22-year-old rising star's prior absences in head coach Mark Daigneault's deep rotations, but Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe are candidates to start for OKC in a favorable situation against Indiana's shoddy defense. Wiggins has started three of his past five games for the banged-up Thunder, averaging 12.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 1.2 steals, and 1.2 treys on 50.0% shooting from deep during this stretch. Ahead of Friday's 12-game slate, there should be more well-rounded options available to fantasy managers on waiver wires.
