J.P. Crawford Starts Rehab Assignment Saturday
8 months agoSeattle Mariners shortstop J.P. Crawford (concussion) cleared concussion protocol and began a rehab assignment on Saturday. The 28-year-old appears to be not far off from being activated off the 7-day concussion injured list. Crawford went on the IL on Aug. 11 following an infield collision with teammate Eugenio Suarez on defense. Fantasy managers should expect Crawford back in the lineup during the coming days, but he is not as valuable in leagues that don't weigh walks. The on-base machine is slashing .266/.379/.411 with 10 home runs, 38 RBI, and 63 runs scored in 460 plate appearances.
