Isaac Paredes Out Of Sunday’s Lineup
8 months agoTampa Bay Rays infielder Isaac Paredes (hand) is not included in Sunday's lineup against the Boston Red Sox. The 24-year-old was pulled from Saturday's game after being hit in the hand by a pitch during the fifth inning. Paredes is day-to-day with a right hand contusion after X-rays returned negative. Tampa Bay is back in action for the start of a three-game series with the Minnesota Twins on Monday. The slugger is slashing a powerful .255/.355/.506 with 29 home runs, 21 doubles, and 89 RBI in 499 trips to the dish. Jonathan Aranda steps in at the 5 and bats sixth for Sunday's tilt.
