Francisco Lindor Hopes Recent Rise Carries Into Second Half
10 months agoThe New York Mets and shortstop Francisco Lindor start their campaign's second half on Friday for a three-game series with the Los Angeles Dodgers. The 29-year-old's stick was catching fire before the break, slashing a potent .338/.421/.716 with seven home runs, 16 RBI, and seven stolen bases over his prior 20 games (74 at-bats). Lindor next faces off with southpaw Julio Urias on Friday. A big portion of the switch-hitting Lindor's power stems from his right-handed bat, belting eight homers in just 97 ABs as a righty-hitter this year. The reliable Lindor should continue to represent a set-and-forget shortstop play in season-long fantasy leagues.
