Fernando Tatis Jr. Twists Ankle On Saturday
10 months agoSan Diego Padres outfielder Fernando Tatis Jr. (ankle) exited the nightcap of Saturday's doubleheader against the Philadelphia Phillies with a twisted ankle. The 24-year-old suffered the injury near the warning track while chasing down a double during the third inning. Tatis was able to stick around for a little while longer, but was eventually pulled during the sixth frame for Brandon Dixon in right field. The superstar went 0-for-3 with one RBI before his night concluded. Tatis is deemed day-to-day, as he appears to have avoided a significant setback. Fantasy managers can exhale. With an off day on Monday, it's possible that the speedy slugger could be out of Sunday's lineup for the series finale in Philadelphia.
