Edouard Julien Recalled From Triple-A
12 months agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Edouard Julien was called up from Triple-A St. Paul ahead of Saturday's game with the Los Angeles Angels. Jorge Polanco (hamstring) hit the injured list with a hamstring strain earlier in the day, paving the way for the rookie's return to the majors after a brief stay earlier this year. Julien is Minnesota's number-four overall prospect and has gone 6-for-29 with two homers and four RBI so far in the bigs. The 24-year-old was not in Saturday's lineup, but he came in to relieve Byron Buxton (calf) who exited the outing early. Julien is not a must-add fantasy player at this time, but he will see increased playing time in Polanco's stead.
