Derrick White Unavailable Monday
6 months agoThe Boston Celtics have ruled out guard Derrick White (personal) for Monday's game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. The Boston Globe's Gary Washburn reported earlier on Monday that White was not seen at morning shootaround despite originally being listed as probable, suggesting his status was in doubt. Wednesday's clash with the Philadelphia 76ers marks the 29-year-old three-and-D combo guard's next opportunity to return to the court. The versatile Al Horford made the spot start on Saturday against the Brooklyn Nets, and he figures to do so once more as a DFS value choice and season-long plug-and-play option against one of the NBA's biggest frontcourts in Minnesota. Jrue Holiday should dominate the bulk of the facilitating duties in this one after accounting for 10 of Boston's 22 assists in Saturday's 124-114 win.
