De'Aaron Fox Still Doubtful After Shootaround
6 months agoSacramento Kings guard De'Aaron Fox (ankle) was a full participant during morning shootaround ahead of Monday's game versus the Cleveland Cavaliers. It provides fantasy managers with some optimism that Fox, who still carries a doubtful tag leading into the action, is progressing toward a return from a right ankle sprain. The All-Star point man also practiced on Sunday, suggesting his status for Monday's matchup isn't exactly set in stone. Sean Cunningham of Fox 40 Sacramento reports that the Kings will update Fox's designation before play. With a late 10:00 PM tip-off, however, season-long and DFS players may not know if Fox is playing until after pregame warmups. It ultimately leaves the 25-year-old as a shy-away option, but Fox could be ready to go by Wednesday against the Los Angeles Lakers. Kevin Huerter and Malik Monk are the top streaming candidates in Fox's stead, assuming it persists against the Cavs.
