Daulton Varsho Ends RBI-Less Drought With Four-Bagger
12 months agoToronto Blue Jays outfielder Daulton Varsho went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in a 6-4 loss to the Tampa Bay Rays on Monday. He was relegated to the seventh spot in the Jays order for his last start. The 26-year-old went 36 at-bats since May 13 without tallying a single RBI before Monday's ninth-inning blast to help make the bout more interesting. Varsho accumulated nine RBI from May 2 to May 7, so fantasy managers hope this recent dry spell is in the rearview mirror. The speedy fielder is still hitting a subpar .207 with a .652 OPS. Varsho's six stolen bases, however, keep him within striking distance of returning to the conversation of top-10 fantasy catchers where eligible.
