Darrynton Evans Breaks Tackles For 35-Yard Score In Win
8 months agoBuffalo Bills running back Darrynton Evans rushed nine times for 65 yards in Saturday's 24-21 preseason win over the Chicago Bears. The 25-year-old created a highlight play on a slick, tackle-busting 35-yard sprint to start the fourth quarter with a bang. Evans nicely capped off a fairly productive preseason, where he took 21 attempts for 108 yards through three games. Ty Johnson handled 11 carries for 46 yards in this one after signing with the Bills earlier in the week. Assuming Buffalo only retains four RBs heading into the regular season, it likely comes down to either Evans or Johnson for the fourth-string spot. Fantasy managers shouldn't be concerned about the status of either back in upcoming drafts.
