Darius Garland To Miss Fourth Straight Game
6 months agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland (hamstring) has been ruled out for Wednesday's rematch against the New York Knicks. Garland is on the shelf for the fourth game in a row due to a left hamstring strain. The All-Star point man battled through the injury to start and handle a full workload in Oct. 25's regular-season opener against the Brooklyn Nets, but he doesn't appear to have a firm timetable for a return. Friday's date with the Indiana Pacers marks Garland's next shot to take the court. Head coach J.B. Bickerstaff deepened his rotation in Tuesday's 109-91 loss, but that may have been done with an eye toward Wednesday's second part of a back-to-back after the Knicks pulled away in the third quarter. Cleveland's offense should run through Donovan Mitchell again for this one, even if Caris LeVert (hamstring) gets the go-ahead to play.
