Darius Garland Remains Out In Paris
4 months agoCleveland Cavaliers guard Darius Garland (jaw) will remain unavailable in Paris against the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday. Garland has not played since Dec. 14 and will miss his 12th straight game due to a fractured jaw, and he remains out indefinitely. The 23-year-old All-Star is averaging 20.7 points, 5.9 assists, 1.8 three-pointers on a career-low 34.6% clip from beyond the arc, and 1.6 steals but ranks among the league's worst with 3.8 turnovers per game over his 20 contests, with his next chance to return coming when Cleveland returns home for Monday's Martin Luther King Jr. Day action versus the Chicago Bulls. The Cavaliers will continue to rely on Donovan Mitchell as their engine on offense, while Caris LeVert continues playing a featured role off the bench as the sixth man.
