Damian Lillard Out With Groin Strain
4 weeks agoMilwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard (groin) won't play in Tuesday's game against the Washington Wizards. After missing Saturday's road victory over the Atlanta Hawks for personal reasons, Lillard is now being listed as out with a strained right groin. The superstar guard's next opportunity to take the floor will arrive on the second half of Milwaukee's back-to-back on Wednesday versus the Memphis Grizzlies, and he should be deemed day-to-day until more is known about the injury. In Lillard's absence, veteran Patrick Beverley figures to be called upon for a second straight spot start at the one after joining the first unit against Atlanta. In three games as a starter for the Bucks this season, Beverley is averaging 12.0 points, 5.3 rebounds. 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals, and 2.3 threes and will be a great DFS budget play against a Wizards defense yielding the fourth-most fantasy points to point guards.
