Clint Capela Out With Achilles Soreness
4 months agoAtlanta Hawks center Clint Capela (Achilles) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers. Capela will hit the seats due to soreness in his right Achilles, and it will be his first missed action since Dec. 16. The Swiss big man will target a return when Atlanta continues a five-game homestand on Friday versus the Indiana Pacers. As for Wednesday, Onyeka Okongwu should man the middle as the direct fantasy beneficiary of Capela's absence in a rather favorable matchup against a Joel Embiid-less Sixers team. In 18 games without Capela since 2022-23, Okongwu has averaged 10.7 points, 9.4 rebounds, and 2.1 blocks in 32.6 minutes and deserves be a very popular play from a DFS perspective in an amplified role.
