Cade Cunningham Won’t Play Against Knicks
1 month agoDetroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham (knee) has been ruled out for Monday's game against the New York Knicks. The 12-59 Pistons are erring on the side of caution on the second half of their back-to-back to manage the left knee of their 22-year-old franchise centerpiece, who also missed Sunday's loss to the visiting New Orleans Pelicans. Wednesday's contest against the Minnesota Timberwolves marks Cunningham's next chance to play. Jaden Ivey will serve as Detroit's primary ball handler in a stiff draw against a Knicks squad permitting the fewest DraftKings points to opposing point guards. Across 12 outings without Cunnigham this year, however, Ivey sports averages of 21.0 points, 5.6 assists, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.2 three-pointers and is a must-start in all points leagues for the start of fantasy's second round of the postseason.
