Bryan Reynolds Raps 13th Homer In Victory
9 months agoPittsburgh Pirates outfielder/designated hitter Bryan Reynolds went 3-for-5 with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored, and a double in Friday's 8-3 triumph over the Milwaukee Brewers. The 28-year-old doubled on the first pitch he saw in the second inning to drive in a run and next knocked a leadoff single during the fourth frame. Reynolds then went deep in the sixth to launch back-to-back jacks with Josh Palacios. While Reynolds' overall fantasy upside remains limited out of the lowly Pirates lineup, the former All-Star has operated as the offense's engine, leading the club in hits (99) and runs (51) overall. The switch-hitting Reynolds is also riding an eight-game hitting streak, batting .412 (14-for-34) with three homers, five RBI, and seven runs scored in this period.
