Bruce Brown Out With Knee Inflammation
2 months agoToronto Raptors guard Bruce Brown (knee) won't play in Sunday's meeting with the Charlotte Hornets. Right knee inflammation will keep Brown out on Sunday, with the combo guard originally being a late addition to the injury report. Across Brown's past 13 games, the versatile 27-year-old is averaging 7.2 points while shooting just 39.8% from the floor, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 23.7 minutes contest and ranks outside the top 200 in nine-category fantasy leagues during this stretch. Brown's next shot to return to the floor comes on Tuesday versus the New Orleans Pelicans. Gradey Dick was already on the rise and is now looking at an increased workload. Over the rookie first-rounder’s last 11 outings, he’s averaging 12.3 points and 2.4 treys on 51.0% shooting from deep in 21.5 minutes and is a solid fantasy streamer in a favorable matchup. The Hornets hold the third-worst defensive efficiency rating (117.3), and they carry the fourth-worst opponent field-goal percentage (49.5%) this year.
