Brandon Drury Enjoys Second Two-Homer Game Of 2023
11 months agoLos Angeles Angels second baseman/first baseman Brandon Drury ended 2-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in a 10-9 shootout loss to the Kansas City Royals on Saturday. He also went yard twice back on April 24. The former Silver Slugger has assured fantasy managers to this point that his 2022 breakout was no fluke. Drury is resembling the hitter he flashed with the Cincinnati Reds in 2022's first half rather than the inferior version he portrayed in the second half with the San Diego Padres. The infielder is slashing a sturdy .305/.362/.525 with five homers and 16 RBI over his prior 118 at-bats. Drury has bounced around the lineup a bit, but his current stay in the top-half while operating close to Shohei Ohtani and Mike Trout's bats augments his fantasy value.
