Amir Garrett 2020 Outlook: Continued Improvement After a Promising 2019
5 years agoCincinnati Reds relief pitcher Amir Garrett will look to build on positive signs from his 2019 season while leaving some of the negatives behind. Garrett was solid overall last season, posting a 3.21 ERA and 22 holds. His 3.80 xFIP and 3.95 SIERA were solid, as was his 31.7 K%. Garrett will need to improve on his 14.2 BB% if he wants to enter the tier of excellent non-closers he is approaching. Garrett has the potential to be one of the better setup men in fantasy, but he needs to throw more strikes like he did in 2018.
