Ezequiel Tovar Hits Second Home Run In Win Saturday
1 year agoColorado Rockies shortstop Ezequiel Tovar went 3-for-4 with a two-run blast in the sixth inning of Colorado's triumph over the Mets. It was the 21-year-old's second homer this week after going deep on May 2 against the Brewers. Perhaps Colorado's number-one prospect is beginning the percolate, as he raised his batting average to .236 with this effort and has logged at least one hit in 10 of his last 12 contests. Regarded for his speed, Tovar has yet to swipe a bag in 31 games for the Rockies, so fantasy managers rostering him are still waiting for that element of his game to be unlocked. Still, he should be at the top of fantasy watch lists for his tantalizing upside.
