The 36-year-olds looks for better results than those he yielded versus the New York Yankees last Sunday, when he imploded for season-worsts in innings (2 1/3), runs allowed (seven), and strikeouts (two). Darvish's ERA swelled to an underachieving 4.61 figure, but a solid 1.20 WHIP suggests he could be in for some positive regression soon. Perhaps the five-time All-Star's turnaround begins in Saturday's draw with the Cubs, who he possesses a wonderful 2.33 ERA with 24 punchouts in 19 1/3 career innings opposing his old team. Fantasy managers should feel optimistic about starting Darvish in season-long leagues.
