Warriors To Be Without Stephen Curry Tuesday
5 months agoGolden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry (knee) is out for Tuesday's game versus the Minnesota Timberwolves. Curry won't play for the first time this season due to right knee soreness. The two-time MVP has looked as great as ever in 2023-24, averaging an NBA-best 5.6 triples with 30.7 points on 48.8% shooting overall and 93.0% from the stripe, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.0 steals. There's no replacing Curry's elite productivity on Tuesday, but 12-time All-Star Chris Paul should substitute for Steph in head coach Steve Kerr's starting group as a popular DFS option despite a tough matchup against the Wolves. Klay Thompson should fire away from long range, while Draymond Green is likely to bring the ball up the court more often in a setting with a low 216.5-point implied total. Perhaps Andrew Wiggins can show a pulse (outside top 400 in 9-category leagues) with some more opportunity, too. Curry now aims to return on Thursday versus the Oklahoma City Thunder.
