Triston Casas Goes Yard Twice To Extend Hot Streak
10 months agoBoston Red Sox first baseman Triston Casas went 2-for-3 with two home runs, three RBI and a walk in Saturday's 8-6 win over the New York Mets. The 23-year-old took Max Scherzer deep twice in this one, leading off the second inning with a homer before crushing another long ball in the sixth frame. It was Casas' first multi-HR game of his career. The former first-round pick is on a heater right now, hitting safely in nine of his last 10 outings while batting .433 with five big flies and eight RBI in 30 at-bats during this period. Casas is also slashing an impressive .319/.413/.622 with eight blasts and 19 RBI in 119 ABs over his prior 37 contests. Fantasy managers who need help in the power department should consider adding the 2022 No. 2 Boston prospect while he's still available in about three-quarters of Yahoo leagues.
