Tristan Thompson 2019 Player Outlook
5 years agoCleveland Cavaliers power forward/center Tristan Thompson is coming off an injury-plagued season that saw him play a career-low 43 games, yet still managed to produce a double-double of 10.9 points and 10.2 rebounds with 4.0 offensive boards a night. He also chipped in 2.0 dimes a night, which was an added bonus. It gets interesting in Cleveland as it seems they are on a half rebuild with himself and Kevin Love filling out the rest of the starting unit. Thompson interestingly enough took the summer off from the Canadian Senior Team and this could very well be because he is entering the last season of his contract. We can assume Thompson will be moved at or before the trade deadline to a contender, but this is not a guarantee. Tread lightly with this big man for this season as it is hard to predict what will happen in Cleveland this year.
